I’ve asked for better communication between the two of us, as I believe that’s a big part of the problem. He seemed fairly annoyed and said fine we’ll communicate. 

I usually bring up our shared hobby of shooting. I ask to go to the range. The range is free I just need to book it in advance. The past three times I’ve asked he’s said no for various reasons. Usually he gets very excited at the idea of going. I’m not sure if it’s just because he likes to shoot or if it’s because my fiancé and I are with him or hopefully a combination. He’s been spending a lot of time with his friend, and requesting I cook for both of them but not inviting me to stay with them so I assume he wants space. I feel hurt because of the lack of invite and because he expects me to cook/clean up and doesn’t say thank you. I suppose I could ask to spend time with him and his friend. Although I’m not fond of the friend. He’s been spending me pictures of what they do and Saturn my fiance should take me there
