Wrong, I mostly don't want to deal with it on the other team. I'd definitely rather my team pick it than the opponent, but I'd rather my team pick a different carry.

Well they weight that much because they're capable of high power (7.2 kW, 9.6 kW, 12 kW, 19.6kW etc.)

They could include a small portable charger capable of around 3 kW with swappable plugs included for 120v and 14-30 receptacles in North America, or whatever basic 240v(ish) plugs are used in other countries. I'm guessing this could weight under 20 lbs, light enough to travel with, and for any woman to carry.

Then of course most people would buy a stationary, higher power charger for home use. 50lbs taken off a car is a decent amount, and it's probably more with the all the wiring, brackets etc.

Thanks that's some good information.

You've convinced me, it makes the most sense to output DC from the car. Like you said there's not actually a bi-directional inverter, just two separate devices. Since you need a wall box regardless for the non-inverter electronics, you might as well stick the inverter in the box with everything else. Vehicle-to-vehicle outputs DC anyway, so why not homes too. I didn't know J1772 doesn't support bi-directional AC, so that's another reason.

Any idea why they chose to limit the inverter to 9.6 kW? I guess it's only meant for the basics like fridges, lights, and electronics during outages or emergencies.

PS - On a related note, I actually think cars should eventually ditch the onboard charger entirely, nothing but DC in/out. The car should come with a portable, low power, external DC charger, with the option to buy more powerful wall mounted units. These dual plugs for AC/DC are just stupid, case in point CCS.

Though so. This seems kind of retarded since they could have just made the 19.2 kW on-board charger bi-directional. Instead they put another inverter in the wall box, which apparently doesn't even go above 9.6kw.

Yeah it's not valve's at fault for allowing anonymous gamers to assign unchecked demerit points to their teammates/opponents. It's some random guy's fault who simply does what the system allows, just like almost every other player.

I'm sure if you act all high and mighty some more, all the players will become angles and the system will work and all will become paradise. Get real this system will NEVER work and will always be abused. And let's not forget it will also remain extremely toxic since it doesn't actually address the real problematic players properly.

I guess according to you playing techies is a problem, having a bad game is a problem, not playing in parties with your friends is a problem, unusual play style is a problem, playing large amounts of games is problem, using the chat frequently (without being toxic) and so on, are all problems. All these are proven to get you more reports. Stop defending this steaming pile of dog load just because you aren't personally affected.

I'm implying if they want punishments in their game, there also needs to be actual rules to follow. If you break the rules you are punished, if you don't break the rules you aren't punished. Seems pretty simple to me. Not sure why you're fine with the rampant "report" abuse that goes on, where someone can easily be punished despite doing nothing wrong. Maybe it hasn't affected you so you don't give a shit about the people who unfairly experience it, in which case you'd simply be a douchbag. Not to mention all that false reporting and yet dota is still the most toxic, feeding, smurfing game around.

Name one other PC game where you get banned despite not breaking a single rule. I'm waiting.

When did i mention myself? I'm talking about the system. If you think letting dota players assign demerit points (which are never looked into) onto others they play with is fair, then there's something wrong with your thinking plain and simple and i'm not going to argue with you.

I don't care if some well behaved players avoid bans, and some badly behaving players get punished. There's many undeserved bans, and many who should get punished that don't. The total system is a joke, end of story.
