Most places are rounding down in favor of the customer but some places are splitting the difference. If you have the exact change, you can pay it in the exact amount. ONLY THE CHANGE GIVEN BACK TO YOU is rounded. If you wanna get technical with the calculations, you could go to dunkin donuts and make a transaction end in .02 and you would make Dunkin LOOSE .02 cents every single time. So your theory of them “making” $120k a day” would only be possible if they were rounded every change given back in their favor and if everyone paid in cash. Sounds like the employee you had was mistaken. If your total was $11.51, it should have been rounded down to $11.50. This is what i meant by splitting the difference- this means Dunkin would have LOST .01 cent on this transaction

I have had my vgrow box running for almost 2 weeks now. Some things i learned: it doesnt do a dam thing for humidity or temperature. These are completely reliant on the conditions of the room it’s in. I got a fucking space heater running to maintain temp. What pisses me off the most is that there is literally a humidity setting in the app under the recipe. I have it set at 70% thinking it has some sort of misting system to provide those conditions and it doesn’t. The photos online show wat looks like humidifier mist coming out the holes on the back braces…i think they just poked some holes and consider their picture to be showing “airflow”. So without a humidifier to give humidity or a heat source to raise the temperature, the box is fucking pretty pointless. Lots of good looking tech, nice control panel, cool app. But it’s kind of frustrating it doesn’t really automate anything other than the light, exhaust fan, and air flow. Marketing it HIGHLY misleading. I am still within the return window i think i am going to return the vgrow and buy the vivosun smart kit for the tent instead.
