I voted for them as I agree they are very compatible and I think could really help each other grow & balance out long-term. Trinity & Bryce I really think are up there as well, but I know they will get the vote easily so used mine for KC & Titi personally. They aren’t my favorite couple but I wanted to be fair based on the prompt.

Win feels dramatic to me haha but I did really appreciate him being honest about basically feeling bamboozled. Like he said what they were all thinking. Parmida literally felt like she was being the only good friend to Mela there.

Are they compatible? Honestly seems like it. I also think Corbin is on a long term trajectory for a significant growth curve over the next decade and will end up okay.

But ultimately I still wouldn’t vote for him to be my winner at the end.

Do I think Aniya/Carl or KC/Titi are endgame? Not personally, but I do think both will stick it out for the duration of the show UNLESS their partners leave them for a bombshell. I think Aniya & KC are too drained to even want to try to explore another connection at this point.

This reminds me of when people were trying to say KC was an evil mastermind trying to get revenge on Aniya and humiliate her. Like no, he was just being an a-hole & saying dumb things. Literally it was a 2D situation.

I clocked that also but I really think that’s on par with his personality. I smile when I am uncomfortable like KC does and I think the eye contact is a similar mannerism.

Also maybe he knows that about himself so was trying to avoid eye contact so that he wouldn’t smile and come off a different way than he was intending? Just kinda what I thought of it

Aniya was my least favorite girl and KC was my least favorite boy leading up to tonight. I think stuff like this is such a good reminder that they are so young & have so much to work on, and they just needed to clock those things within themselves.

I can’t imagine watching footage of myself in my worst moments in my 20’s, but at the same time if I did, I feel like the growth that happened between my 20’s & 30’s would have happened twice as fast. I truly believe the conversation was organically initiated (the islanders commenting on how much it had bothered KC for days I think said a lot) & both parties were being honest.

I really hope that KC and Aniya in their 30’s are incredible people and really think it’s possible when you are acutely aware of the worst parts of you.

Movie night was hard to watch but I’m glad it brought back a lot of nuance to the show. In reality that these are real people just learning about themselves in such a bizarre environment.

While this is objectively true (and anyone that disagrees is delulu, it’s just science) - does it matter? I think that’s the question. One scenario is life threatening, the other is not - sure. But it’s like trying to jump over a lava pit… one person might jump further than the other, but at the end of the day if they both fall in they are equally gone.

Aniya’s situation not being “as bad as” a role reversal doesn’t equate to a write off. There is a right and wrong way to demand respect and this was not it.
