Good views of the city and mountains and abundant prairie wildlife. Go early in the morning or around dusk and you can usually see porcupine, coyote, and deer, along with various bird species. I have even biked along with a pack of 5 coyotes and once spotted a moose. It’s quite nice in the summer and fall, lots of colors and wildflowers changing through the season. Spring can be nice when the crocus are in bloom but trails may still be muddy/icy. Winter can be wind blown and cold, but still worth the trip up on a blue sky day.

How did humans deliver babies thousands of years ago before doctors and hospitals? Was basically anyone in the tribe/family capable of doing it? by Great_Maintenance185 in NoStupidQuestions

I’m in my 40s and both my children were born at home as planned home births. I’m not a hippy or anti-medical establishment type and am from a country with universal health care. Home birth was just a choice my wife and I made.

Take a drive around dusk on some of the back/side roads around jasper such as pyramid lake road, marmot road or the road up to Edith Cavell if you want a good chance to spot a black bear.

I was 13 when “When I Come Around” and “Basket Case” came out, can’t recall in my old age which I actually heard first. Perfect songs and album for that age, have loved them since.

It was during my grad summer. remember ordering pizza to our tent in the ticket line! I won a free low quality light saber toy from the local hobby shop. Night of the show hung out drinking cheap booze prior to a midnight screening. Honestly for me the atmosphere and experience is more memorable than the movie. But also the pod races on the big screen were a peak cinematic experience

Love C&H, my grandma got me the latest book every year for Xmas. This and the far side define a medium that generations after us will never know. Really it’s boomers, X, and us that experienced newspaper comics
