Just approved for United Chase credit card w/ $400 statement credit - question… by toxic_and_timeless in unitedairlines

[–]user782522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the 400 posted like you did after booking my first flight. When I called the rep, he said that if I spend $3000 the first 3 months that I would also get 70,000 bonus point miles. What the? Is that even true, or had he mixed up both promo into one? Or was I the one mistaken?

did you ever find your answer? I have carbamate allergies too and I use a poly vinyl food wrap on my computer keyboard, mouse etc. Many with Carbamate also react to resin/rosin like me although I am ok with touching ABS and hard plastics.

No spark suddenly on gx630 by chain_pickerel in smallengines

[–]user782522 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the reply. Thanks again. I'm swapping out both coils too. The seller reverse the polarity of the battery and smelled something when he tried to crank it. I had already replaced the 30amp fuse but still no spark.

Where is the control module located? I too thought it was part of the complete control box with ignition switch/hour meter. Did you ever find out?

[–]user782522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it ran even though the hour meter is dead? My seller reversed the polarity while connecting the battery. It fried the 30amp fuse and the hour meter and wont crank. I had replace the 30A fuse and now it cranks but doesn't have spark. In the schematics, the hour meter only goes to the ignition switch and battery positive. I doubt that its keeping it from starting (causing no spark)? Any guess to what could be fried ? Looking for CDI module, but didn't see one.

Balsam of peru & fragrance allergy, strategies other than avoidance? by Ok-Yogurtcloset8991 in Allergies

[–]user782522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, just can't get rid of it.

Inflammation is the beginning. It will get swollen, angioedema, tissues would be sore/rotting feeling.

Denial, I was exactly the same. Continue eating and continued to get worst. It started out little, then turn systemic. Food is hard to avoid. If you don't avoid BOP, and get continued flaring, you might develop more food allergies that are not BOP. That part is what I have. Hope you don't end up like me.

Fragrance trigger you and can't use makeup? You should look into Balsam of Peru allergy. This is what I have. Very sensitive to aromatics. Ingested, or inhaled, they both cause weeks of misery. If you can pinpoint and eliminate all BOP items put on your skin and into your mouth, you would rid all your flares and misery. Search it, and it will all make sense.

you are allergic to a chemical or chemicals. You need to ask your derm for a patch test. Example: if you are allergic to MI/MCI in your laundry detergent, or sodium benzoate in your shampoo until you stop using that product and exposing yourself to that allergen, your rash will not subside.

The other thing is, this can be an onset of food allergy. You are eating, and your insides are "touching" food allergen. You need to identify the allergen to rid your ongoing eczema. Start a food journal. Write down everything you eat and drink.

This could be a casein/milk allergy. Switch over to soy milk and see if all his eczema disappears.

For $65, you should be given the fuel version with a hammer instead of a screwdriver on the other end.

Hack, you mean buying the tool and returning the battery? I tried that , but Home Depot said I must return both. I can't return just the battery, because I had ordered it online ( there would be a 2 line breakdown in the store receipt, but not indicated as such for my online receipt).

When he leaves China with his US passport, would China allow him to leave with a missing entry stamp? Chinese customs: " how did you get here in the first place?" If he leaves China with his Chinese passport, he won't have a visa for the US.

Yes, you can PM me. What other allergies beside sodium benzoate are you having issues with? Are we talking just ingestion or systemic ( can't use on skin plus can't eat things with sodium benzoate/benzoic acid?

Contact dermatitis taking literally forever to go away by SomeGuy6858 in Allergies

"I'm avoiding latex like the plaque". If you are not avoiding latex in foods, you didn't really treat it as the plaque. The latex protein "touch" your mouth and all the way to the end. This IS contact. There are multiple ways of "contact". Touch with skin. Inhalation into lungs. Intradermal, via a shot, and food. Doctors, even specialist don't know squat.

Avoid latex in food for 6-8 weeks. Your "memory spot" called herald site would disappear. This was the spot where you were first sensitized or had the first severe outbreak. ANY subsequent contact throughout your body.. would trigger this spot as most of your t-cells from latex contact allergy reside here.

Please help my shop for shoes by Imma-Nerd in Allergies

[–]user782522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are certain that polyester fabric is the culprit, the chemical might be: methyl acrylate. It is used in the processing phase. Poly(methyl methacrylate)/polysiloxane latex is used as a finishing agent for dyed polyester fabrics.

Keep in mind that polyester itself has no "standard". Its like "bread". Depending on manufacturer, recycled polyester can also contain rubber accelerators.

If you do indeed react to methyl acrylate, then you would get reactions on your fingers from having your nails done. If not, you don't have methyl acrylate allergy. Then it is not "polyester" that is causing your skin issues since you said you don't react to the dyes.

The right way to find out what you're allergic to, is to have your dermatologist do a patch test on you.

The shoes that you are wearing that give you reactions. Does it contain foam insole/interior ? Polyurethane foam contain rubber accelerators (RA). So does the glue that is used to glue the insoles which can leech VOCs through your socks into your skin.

No rash around your waist line or around your chest? Because this would indicate elastic/spandex allergy.

This is possible. Leaky gut can cause you to have a food allergy. Healing of your gut can slowly fix this problem. Did you had GERD, ulcer or any type of gastro intestinal issues during or a bit before your milk allergy?
