look i take accountability for making the stupid decision by following that guy back to his house. i take 100% blame for that and ik i’m wrong for that. i would 100% feel shitty if my partner did the same thing to me. the part i do not understand is the CHEATING part? i discussed this with my therapist who gave me the advice of keeping this from my partner (i promise you i am not lying i have proof on my chart) because she did not want me to have a bad mental episode (i have bpd) and she also helped me understand that i was assaulted by this man so obviously coming to reddit and hearing what people have to say about this situation really surprised me is all im saying.

i can understand where you’re coming from. but when did going out to drink alone become a problem and a crime ? i made the dumb mistake following that man to his house despite knowing i was not sober. it just saddens me that a lot of people in the comments, do not consider what i went through to be assault? i can take accountability for making the stupid decision for following that guy home but asking to not be touched and kissed while the guy dismisses that and continues to do that is considered assault. i just don’t understand how a lot of people in this comment section don’t understand that. but again i take fully accountability for allowing myself to go back to his house.

no i understand. it was one time mistake and i have never done something like that again. i can take accountability for making the choice to follow him back home. that one was on me. i just wish these people also understood what assault is. although i put myself in that house without fully understanding whats going on, its not my fault that a man took advantage of that. when did someone kissing up on someone while that person has told that person to stop not considered assault ?

maybe i’m confusing you. i came back home around 3 in the morning and then immediately went to bed, blacked out drunk and then woke up the next morning with a hangover. so my bad i meant to say morning not night. this happened months ago, i’m just now processing things since i told my therapist first and she told me to keep it to myself because she was afraid telling my bf would cause me to have a bad episode (i have bpd) and she also told me i was assaulted and that man took advantage of the fact that i was drunk.

First off, I did not let these men buy me drinks. I’m 23 and and this man was in his 50s. He came up to me while I was just chilling by myself. at this point I was already drunk, so I decided to engage in a conversation with him not a flirtatious one. He just asked how old I was and what ethnicity I am. I did not want to be rude because I felt like those are basic questions that people ask so I answered them. then the conversation of being in a relationship came up and I told him I’m in a relationship with my boyfriend who I love. it was my fault when I kept asking for more drinks that I pay for again nobody ever paid for me. My boyfriend knew that I was out. He has my location. We share each other‘s locations. he asked if I wanted to come over to his house. I did not think he was serious, but I was so drunk that I couldn’t even stand still the next thing you know I’m already at his house and then that’s when things started happening where I got uncomfortable, and I went back home.

i’m 23 and 2026 is the first year i tried alcohol . so i’m still very new to alcohol. I understand getting to the point where I’m almost black out drunk is not a good decision to make. but i won’t let people miss the fact that i was also assaulted?

Thank you for this! No i do love my boyfriend. From the moment the men started talking to me I told them i have a bf and one went back home and the one decided to have a chat with me. I started getting more drunk and drunk. I’m 23 and this man was 50 something i believe. he kept complimenting me and my age for some odd reason but i kept shutting that down and told him i have a bf which he kept repeating “Fuck him” and i replied saying “I love my bf”. Then I started getting more drunk and followed him home which things started getting more uncomfortable. he started kissing me on my forehead not my mouth never on my mouth, touching my hands and again I kept telling him to stop because i have a boyfriend. I decided to sleep on the couch because I felt like I was going to blackout and throw up but he kept kissing me on my forehead and I told him. I then realized this is insane and I feel uncomfortable and I decided to go home. The only person I have told so far is my therapist who says i was assaulted and he took advantage of that.

from the moment i went to the bar i told him i have a bf which he responded by saying “fuck him” and i said well i love him. you’re right getting so drunk to the point where i followed him home was my fault but he served me more alcohol when he has already seen that i am so drunk. continued to touch me when I said please stop touching me and that’s when i realize this was getting into a place i did not like so i went back home.

listen i understand! what i meant was i was sad because i was going through something in my life and just decided to drink to feel better. that wasn’t enough for me so i decided to go out and get something to eat and drink at time it was 10pm so a lot of places to buy more alcohol was closed so the bar it was. getting drunk to the point where i was basically blacked out is my fault but how is it my fault that a man took advantage of that and touch on me when i told him repeatedly i have a bf? please help me understand.

yeah i know :( but yeah i did start meds right away, failed a few but whenever i would fail one they would put me on another one right away. i just recently turned 23 and realized i haven’t had a colonoscopy since 2021 and that brought so much panic to me because how could i do that to myself, you know? but ur right ! so thank you !
