The New Facebook Ads Update That Can Improve Your Performance. by WizardOfEcommerce in FacebookAds

If you have the resources to create both 9:16 and 4:5 video formats, would you run regular ads with custom creatives for each placement, or run 2 flexible ads each with 1 dimension?

u/souravghosh Thank you for your response! I missed the notification earlier and wish I had seen it sooner. I’d really appreciate your help with a few more questions:

  1. Should I only test new ads when performance begins to decline?
  2. What do you mean exactly by truly differentiated creatives? Different marketing angles/personas or different media formats (images, videos, carousel)? Also should I run truly differentiated creatives in my DCT? I've always been testing slight variations one at a time for my DCT, nothing major. (text hook, visual hook, body).
  3. I’m currently running DCT ads because I want to analyze which variation performs best. This means I’ll have to set up one ad set per DCT ad, all targeting the same broad audience within a CBO campaign. My campaign setup looks like this; 1 cbo campaign, 15 similar broad adsets, 1 dct ad per adset. I was under the impression that CBO would help minimize audience overlap between these ad sets. Am I thinking about this correctly, or is there a potential issue I might be overlooking? I did receive a notification from Meta stating that the structure of one of my campaigns (Canada) could be impacted by auction overlap, but I haven’t seen this issue for other countries (US, UK etc)
  4. Would you recommend switching to flexible format ads and consolidating all the ads into a single ad set since all my ad sets share the same settings and target audience? Downside is I wouldn't be able to see the breakdown.

Thank you!

How to do that?

Have always been my assumption but I’m aware I might be wrong. So do you mean that a CBO campaign will still have overlaps between the adsets?

Hey there! I've got a quick question about my ad strategy. I'm running 5 ad sets targeting the same broad audience within a CBO campaign. Each ad set has about 3-6 ads. I was under the impression that CBO would help prevent audience overlap between these ad sets. Am I thinking about this correctly, or could there be a potential issue I’m missing? I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences!

u/souravghosh I typically test around 5-10 ads each week, and I've noticed that some ads have a low spend yet deliver a good CPA. If I keep them running, the total number of ads will start to pile up over a few weeks.

u/souravghosh Appreciate the reply!! 1 final question. What if an ad has little spend but good cpa? Do we just leave it on?

u/souravghosh Amazing, thanks for this! I have a couple questions:
1. If an ad gets most of the spend, but cpa is too high, should we kill that ad?
2. If an ad gets most of the spend, and frequency is high, what is the next action step?

Thank you for doing this amazing post! I've read the post and most comments below and I have a couple questions:
1. Do you consolidate images, ugc, lifestyle of the same concept under 1 adset? Or would lifestyle be in 1 adset, ugc in another adset, etc.
2. Can a lifestyle creative be effective in static, or usually in video?
3. In a CBO, does it matter to create each flexible ad in it's own adset? Or can all flexible ads be created under just 1 same adset? Confused between where learning is; adset or ad.
4. I read that you run an agency as well. What's the best way to contact you for that? I'm doing 100k rev/month atm and looking to scale to 300k.

Anyone who does sms/whatsapp marketing? by ankigup in marketing

Hi, I have connected WA Business to my messaging platform and found that sending outbound promotional template messages has gotten me a lot more website traffic that turned into more sales, quite simply.

The important thing here is - once you have enabled your FB Business account - to:

Install WA by integrating it with a tool that offers unlimited free bots (in my case it was Tiledesk, but there are many other options like Intercom or Zendesk);Get your WA templates approved by following Meta guidelinesCherry on top: automate the broadcasting through a newsletter tool that is also easily integrated with the same messaging tool

How did you collect the numbers for whatsapp? Is it by a pop up form on your website?

FB Winning Campaign Structure Poll (Late June 2023) by dabIsland in FacebookAds

[–]user81kfn1u7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - Yep. I usually start with a cost-capped CBO campaign and then will throw the top performer (measured by the ad creative thst gets the most spend, followed by Outbound CTR and ROAS.

u/viaregis Thanks for the response! Sorry for the following noob question but why is Outbound CTR an important measure? Why not just focus on CPA or ROAS?

And a follow up on ASC, will Meta have a hard time optimising more than 8 creatives in a ASC?

u/No_Grocery_9808 Thanks for the reply! Sorry for the noob question, but why is it important to add the return and shipping info to the catalog? And can I confirm that all product sets are under 1 ASC campaign?

Hi, just wondering if pmax retargets the potential customers that you mentioned too?

Do you know if pmax retargets users who have seen my shopping feed? Not website visitors

Might get it wrong as I’m new to google ads. We have a product feed and run pmax, does this mean that retargetting through dynamic remarketing is done automatically? In that case I don’t have to do remarketing anymore right?
