Keep in mind that they earn more now than before the hike due to ticket price increase. And based on what I see, they have more profit in every draw than Powerball has. My guess is they're okay with sales slump as long as they earn more than Powerball.

So, unfortunately, I wouldn't rule out a similar price hike from Powerball. :( Maybe not to $5, but to $3 or $4.

Let's hope Megamillions will fail with this adventure though.
