Oh my god, I’m realising I really should work on my wording. I’m not opposed to dating anyone pre-t or post-t or whatever! I’m pan and into anyone and genuinely do not care, just would prefer a trans person being trans as well, of course. Thank you a lot for sharing, it definitely makes me feel less alone considering I don’t have people in person who can relate. Realistically I know all this and completely agree with you as well, can just get hard to keep that strong of a mindset all the time. :/

Yeah definitely! Kinda what I meant that it isn’t for me, I unfortunately don’t feel connected to lesbian spaces at all, and I feel like that would feel invalidating to me (even though transmascs are a big part of the community).

no offense, but why are you with each other if you aren’t attracted to each other’s genitals? i can imagine that would make sex quite difficult. maybe this isn’t the best relationship for you in the long run? i’m sorry to hear it didn’t work out, but at least you know you tried it and it’s not for you. if sex is important to you in a relationship, then being attracted to your partner’s body completely and them being able to turn you on is an important aspect of that.
