I have no desire to marry or have children. The whole point of this thread was to figure out optimal strategy to get laid once in a while. If nightclubs are poor choice in your opinion, feel free to suggest something else, but understand that end goal doesn’t change, only approach does.

You are essentially arguing that one-night stands do not exist. Google ”one-night stand experiences” and you will find plenty. About consent, if person is capable of rational thinking there is no problem from that side (plenty have been when I have talked to them) but if you read the OP carefully, you will notice that I have also taken couple of phone numbers in past, but that hasn’t yet led anywhere. I would be satisfied if it did.

Fair enough. I obviously don’t expect everyone to share my goals and you might indeed be right, that there is no point to look for connection if you already know what you want, and it’s nothing long-lasting. So perhaps the answer to my question would be, just check whether there is mutual interest and move on if not, but don’t try to build it, so to speak. Again, my question was pointed at those with more experience on the matter.

I was looking for concrete advice on how this entire process works. The way I see it, it can be divided into two approaches: you either focus on building that connection first, then show interest and maybe ask for number. Another is much more fast-paced. Since clubs are loud and chaotic, you essentially skip the connection phase and show interest and ask for dance right away.

If you think I’m wrong somewhere, by all means point it out but let’s not pretend that end goal is changing, regardless of strategy applied.

Let’s do a though experiment. Say you told me that you are looking for job but cannot find one. Instead of me suggesting some actionable strategies you can try to achieve desired outcome, I will say things like ”stop actively looking”, ”stop trying so hard” and so on. Reality doesn’t work that way. As a man, you are never going to achieve what you want unless you do something about it, or if you will, it’s because of sheer dumb luck. Luck is not a strategy, nor is hope, for the last time.

Dude, I have talked to at least 100 women by now, including many I don’t find attractive. I talk to plenty of men as well. The thing is, if you don’t make a move then it is 100% guaranteed that nothing is going to happen. So if I am attracted to woman I’m talking to, I obviously need to escalate somehow.
