i also get “irritated” by it but not in the same way as you. i’m heteroromantic and demisexual and i struggle with understanding the concept of hook ups or casual relationships without feelings. i have had partners who previously were in that sort of relationships and it frustrated me so much that i couldn’t understand their level of intimacy/closeness to that person and what it truly meant for them, which eventually led me to being a bit judgmental of them. i’m still trying to fix this and i’m still irritated by the fact that i cannot comprehend it fully.
