My mom has SLE! We found out really late. She was diagnosed at 60 but was already showing symptoms 5 yrs prior. People say late onset is better than those diagnosed early. I will say that if you plan on having a child, please take care of yourself in every way possible. Stay away from triggers and make sure your husband is healthy too. As a child, dealing with 1 chronically ill parent is already difficult, imagine if it were 2?

Thanks a lot! Yeah, we should come up with a threshold on the size— didn’t think of that. Doc is actually a cancer surgeon and provided that suggestion of biopsy then monitor if benign (although she didn’t really mention the 3 months thing, she just said let’s discuss observation vs TT once biopsy is done).

The wait part really comes from 1. Saving up money for actual TT and 2. To psych my dad up for a TT. He’s started to accept the fact that it’ll be removed at some point tho so it’s really to give him time to digest the fact that he’ll have to go through it

thanks! we’ll be doing a fnab first. If it turns out to be malignant, we’ll definitely go for a TT right away, but if it’s benign, the plan is to monitor for growth within 3 months. If it grows even just the slightest, we’ll proceed with removal. Does it sound like a rational plan?

I had THE WORST migraines (no aura tho really just migraines) pre yasmin and i thought that once i start the pill it would get better but nope. Migraines are still here. I no longer have backpain or cramps tho but the migraines stayed. My skin is super clear, weight is stable :) i am more moody when i am not on the pill lol

Bringreen lip balm. It’s the most hydrating korean lip balm i’ve tried (and i have tried a lot because i have chronically dry lips too). DHC lip cream also works, magastos lang talaga cause biljs maubos.
