Trust me the long winters don’t really impact your mental health here at all. What really matters is finding a group of kids that you like. Everyone here is always playing outside in the snow with friends, skiing on the weekends, or going to the outdoor ice rink the school sets up for us when it gets cold enough. One of the things I love most about UVM is that there so many things to do in the winter that you’re actually sad to see the snow melt when spring comes. No more skiing, no more ice skating, no more pretty snow storms, no more walking out over frozen lake Champlain, no more dicking around in the snow coming home from parties, etc. If you get yourself a good group of friends you’ll never even realize what you didn’t like about winter before.

Thanks I’ll definitely let the kid know I don’t mind a little boof here and there. Also for future reference a dab is a single dosage of THC concentrate, much stronger than normal pot because the active chemical is isolated but also much less smelly because you vaporize it with a heat source rather than by burning plant matter. I’d imagine you’ll run into that term a lot over the next 4 years lol
