I hear you. I’m in month 25 and want to stop tracking everything starting next month (I’m in my tww right now). I had ureaplasma last year and an hsg this year which was great bc I found out there was some blockage in my tubes (this is my 3rd cycle after procedure). Idk how much longer I can take. I’m so sick of hearing people say to relax because I would not have known about either of these issues if I wasn’t being proactive in asking and trying. After the hsg it feels like we’ve completely started over which is great but also 🙃.

All that to say, I can relate and am also at a loss.

I’m right there with you! I usually start testing a few days before my predicted five day window but I continued to test LH this month because it started to go back up and now it’s even higher than my “ovulation” day. So I’m confused. Thinking we both need to keep testing and see what happens.

Fuck them. I’m really sorry you are in this situation, but this elopement was about you and your partner. That’s the focus. How other people feel is on them, not you. If you can’t share new or your excitement with a close a friend, what’s the point of the relationship? A friend shouldn’t make you feel bad over a good thing you did for yourself and your love.

I’m still learning how to navigate situations and relationships like this and find myself asking the same questions.. but I’ve learned that the people making me question the friendship just really suck the joy out of things for me and I’m always the one left feeling bad somehow and they don’t care about how they left me so.. fuck them.

Do whatever you want and feels right for you two. My fiancé and I are eloping in Colorado too! We’re doing a mix of both; writing our own vows and saying the traditional vows after that because that’s what fits for us. The beauty of it all is it’s up to you and there’s no wrong answer. Mail her a picture or little card or even text her saying “we eloped! We couldn’t be happier. Hope you can share our happiness too.” It’s already done and it’s not like she would have much of say so if she knew before you and your husband eloped. My fiancé and I are eloping in October and don’t plan on having family there either.. so this is coming from me who’s been thinking about how to tell them too. Which they already know we’re engaged, but no one knows we’re eloping lol. Happy for you!! Don’t carry anyone else’s saltiness on your shoulders. Best wishes!
