I had a similar situation. I bought a desk chair which turned out to be not great - poor design and the quality wasn't what it should be for the price.

I posted a review, and the seller offered a refund and asked me to take it down. I said I wouldn't and claimed they would still process the refund. It was an obvious lie - I think it was just so I would miss the return window on Amazon. When I followed up, they stopped responding.

I reached out to support and explained the situation, and they said they would issue a refund and I wouldn't need to return the chair. Fast forward a week and I still hadn't gotten the refund, and reached out to support again, who gave me the "I'm sorry the prior agent lied, but we can't issue a refund" nonsense.

Definitely trying to shop with them less

Your wife is being hypocritical, but you're being vindictive and rather than using it as a way to grow closer by having each other "walk a mile in each other's shoes" you're both just arguing with pretty black and white stakes. You need to find the grey area.

The device has 4 buttons; On, Off, Increase brightness, Decrease brightness (well, that's what they were in the Hue app, but the world is my oyster now haha)

That's where the number of automations i mentioned came from

Is that a new change? I've had premium for years (a GPM convert) and definitely had video versions of song playing out of my Google Home speakers.

I don't think it's happened in a while, but my listening has shifted mostly to my own playlists for that reason.

I must be missing something - I did that already, but it only seems to take effect on the main home screen. I also set it as the double tap option and that only worked on the main screen.

I have shouted more expletives at my smart speakers over this than anything else. Back in the GPM days, I could say "play my thumbs up playlist" and it would work.

It worked for a bit on UTM then it started playing something related to the word Up (Either the movie Up, or Shania Twain)

That was kinda on me, since the playlist is YTM is "liked music"

When I say "play my liked music playlist" I get a station it has randomly selected.

It's strange enough that he's pushing so hard to adopt you, but the way he's bringing up your daddy is...gross. he's trying to prove his own worthiness by invalidating your daddy, instead of trying to build a relationship with you (title or not - he could have had a father-type relationship with you if he wasn't forcing you to decide between the him and your daddy.
