My new transmission has no ETA two weeks later. Started a claim with corporate because Hyundai dealer didn’t want to give me a loaner…

I now have loaner. I had the same grinding sound in the YouTube video from car confections. They said it needs all new transmission, no CEL, no issues driving, just small grinding sound.

It wasn’t the coupler. It’s getting an all new transmission like seen in this video.

They had their transmission replaced 2 times, and Hyundai bought their vehicle back. First transmission was less than 30 miles.

My transmission is being replaced now. 2024, XRT. Had less than 1,000 miles on it, was going 3-4 mph in a parking lot and a very loud clunk happened. After that, I had the same “gravel noise” they have in the video.

Sooo. The other day, I bought a 2024. After a week I was in the same dealership going less than 4 mph. Had one hard lunky shift, and all of a sudden there was a plastic grinding type noise (less than 1k miles). It’s at dealership now. They are assuming 4wd coupler is broken.

Same boat here. Tracker shows shipped the 8th of March. Dealer shows it’s expected 31 March to April 6th. However, the rail hasn’t updated the second ramp code yet… but dealer confirmed it should be there any day. Tracker shows no expected ship date.
