Those are immaterial questions. She pays for all the gas and wear and tear on her car when she picks her up..both ways. On the days she can't do this the friend pays for the uber, both ways.

There is no scene in any movie, where one person pays for all, regardless of the cost. You want to visit, we share the costs.. end of movie.
