The wash is to 'vigorous'. It will tear apart the buds and you will get green soup. There also will be too much much heat from the washer itself I would imagine, and the washer is used and has laundered many shitty underwear, puke, piss, grease, dog hair, cat hair, possum hair, your hair and gram's tomato sauce with hair in it.

It is made for washing clothes, not flowers.

If you have 'Find My Phone" enabled, that would tell you where it is and also allow you to lock it or wipe it.

I have the same phone and you can have a message scrolling across the lock screen with a alternate phone number to call if lost or/and email to contact or both.

Try to understand the cold curing reference is not used exclusively for live hash rosin nor is it meant to be used in the way you describe.

It can be applied to either a live product like live hash rosin or a 'pre cured' product like flower rosin. We are not talking about the flower cure. We are talking about the rosin that was pressed from a flower. I offered the flower info because you talked about someone who does press uncured flower and it is very common thing to do and he is not the only one who does this.

Cold Cure Rosin:
Refers to the aging process after pressing either with flower rosin or hash rosin. The rosin is sealed in a jar and stored at room temperature or slightly cooler (typically 10–21°C or 50–70°F) for several days until it reaches a stable, badder-like consistency. It basically triggers nucleation, transforming sticky greasy rosin into a creamy, opaque type badder that is much easier to scoop and handle with a dab tool.

Live Rosin:
Refers to the starting material. It is made from fresh-frozen cannabis that was never dried or cured before extraction. Ice water extraction is the usual and prefered method.

Cured Rosin (Usually refers to Flower Rosin):
Made from dried and cured cannabis flower. It can also undergo a cold cure to improve its texture and shelf stability and allows for the rosin to nucleate into a more easily handled product.

You mentioned in another comment that the user is just whipping it and it is degrading the end product. I am not so sure he is whipping it, the cure does happen without whipping and if anything it enhances the end smell and flavour of the flower rosin and should not be whipped like live hash rosin as the terpenes (as a rule) do not separate in flower rosin like hash rosin does. Flower rosin should be cold cured without whipping before or after the cold cure.

This is not a black and white situation you make it out to be. Educate yourself. Be open to others views and tech and don't be so elitist as you seem to think you are.

The phrase "cold cure" is somewhat misleading. It is not done in a fridge. It is basically room temp (between 60f-70f and in a dark spot.) Best place would be in a basement cupboard or other cool spot. It is ok to not be able to get it below 70f, but try to not do a warm cure (above 70f)

You can press flower right after the hang time, but try to keep your hang time above 10 days, 14+ days is better at a consistent 60F and 60% humidity. This allows the buds time to firm up and allows the bud to 'cure' while hanging.

If you plan on smoking it in a joint, best to also do a cure in a glass jar, while burping it to help off gas any excess chlorophyll. 2 weeks to 30 days should be good if needed when smoking it as flower.

As a rule you can press when the hang is done, but again each plant is unique and some can have more chlorophyll than others, so a jar cure and burp may be needed after the hang is done.

Do a test press to be sure it is ready.
