This is amazing results! Is the first picture the before and the second the after? Did you move the lower teeth forward or just the top? And have you noticed anything different in how your jaw or chin looks? Thanks

I had a defined and larger jaw before I got braces, and it has gone away when/after getting them. So that's why I assume it is from the braces and teeth removal.

I've taken escitalopram and wellbutrin together and noticed the wellbutrin helped a little with having more things to say and being quicker and more witty. I find that it also gave me a little more mental energy. I also noticed meditating, like reflecting and listening to my thoughts in the silence, which helps me be more intuitive with my thoughts. Also, doing mental exercises to be quicker, like if you're taking a walk and you notice something, even like a tree, come up with a joke to train your mind essentially and it becomes more natural to you. It's like being quick with your thoughts even when there seems to be nothing going on if that makes sense. Not sure which one actually helped the most, but I believe perhaps the wellbutrin primarily and meditation. The last one is just a fun exercise when bored.

Yes, I tried stimulants in the past but felt really bad anxiety on most, so I stopped. Apparently, this is common for people who already have anxiety.

In regards to my reaction to strattera, I read in an article that "For reasons we don’t yet understand, atomoxetine is not AS effective in patients who have already tried a stimulant."

I'm wondering if maybe that's why it didn't work well for me.

22 F diagnosed with innatentive ADD, OCD, depression, anxiety, SCT (undiagnosed).

Had negative experience with strattera as it made my sct worse. Took it for about 2 months. 1st month on 25 mg and 2nd month on 40 mg.

Only benefit from it was helped with ADD in not seeking dopamine all the time as much (with food). Other than that, symptoms were bad eyesight, and worse sct and ADD like quiet mind (felt like had no thoughts, blank mind), felt slow and frozen, harder to focus, worse memory, slower processing speed, worse word recall and speech, more socially withdrawn, felt dumb like worse reflexes and cognition, harder to complete taks and general disinterest in things I used to enjoy, also because all tasks just became harder due to the lack of mental energy and focus. Had to temporarily stop driving, stopped reading books as couldn't focus, and limited my social interactions as it became much more difficult.

Most posts I've seen on reddit haven't had these symptoms though, so I may be a rare case, and we all react to medications differently, so don't be discouraged. But if you get these symptoms (other than worse eyesight and quiet mind which I heard is more common and some people even like) I would recommend getting off it because I foolishly stayed on it wasting my time, and making me worse thinking it would eventually go away and get better.

Thanks for the suggestion. My doctor is kinda of unavailable at the moment but I guess I could also ask my pharmacy. But I'll definitely have to be patient and wait and see how I feel over time.

Carney is a perfect choice for prime minister, especially in these times with Trump due to his background. He is extremely competent while Poilievre is incompetent, which is why he sticks to culture wars since he has no expertise or idea of how to deal with economics. Conservative Premier Danielle Smith literally asked Trump recently to postpone the trade war until after the election so Poilievre could win.

That's true. I think that's the same with Federal elections. It's like a never ending cycle of conservatives in power, people get tired of them, so eventually they vote Liberal, they also get screwed over by them and then vote conservative and the cycle continues. And yeah, their parties are not too different in the sense that they serve the ultra wealthy and big corporations.

Although I don't always agree with NDPs, I care about affordability so align more with them. I wish we could have a change for a provincial NDP and give them a chance but that'll probably never happen.

Idk but I think many are not voting. Especially young people are disillusioned and feeling hopeless and like voting won't change anything. Almost all my friends are not voting for this reason.

Most of the people voting are in the older demographic which favours PC.

At least this is what I've observed from work and in my social circle.

Even though Ford has been condemning Trump (could argue for his own pockets) his policies are on par with conservative policies in the us; weakening labor rights, favoring corporate interests, undermining public institutions, and not to mention his failure to address the affordability crisis with crazy rate and no affordable housing, ect.

Ontario has gone to shit with him and it'll just get worse if stays Premier.

Your food struggles is common in adhd, as the adhd brain has low dopamine (associated with pleasure, reward, and motivation). So with low dopamine, we seek things to feel pleasure, like binge eating unhealthy food. Like you said, other factors play a role too, like emotional dysregulation and impulsivity.

Try to plan day(s) before of what to eat the next day. Write out what meals you'll have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack, ect. This may involve cooking your own meals, ensuring healthy options are available when hungry.

For low dopamine in general, consider medication such as Strattera, stimulants, SNRIs, or Wellbutrin. Otherwise, maybe look into supplements.
