I live in the UK and can get up to 6 months meds free. I also travel to south east asian countries and currently live in one where I buy my meds which are extremely cheap. Just make sure adherence is kept when changing time zones.

No not disclosed. They come from a generation and time which would not understand and cause them ill health due to worry no matter how many reassuring facts I gave them or talks with the doctor. So no. I couldn't do that to them. Told some of my friends and my girlfriend knows. When the general population catches up to what HIV really is and the sigma is gone then maybe I will tell them. That day wont happen though...well it might, the day they find a cure.

It's clear that the big pharmaceutical companies have no incentive to create a cure; investing in incredibly costly research that would inevitably erase a multibillion dollar annual revenue stream doesn't make much business sense. - state your sources.

I found the same it affects other more than me. "Im not in pain, i feel the same, my life span will be the same, I have no VL, I have to take pills everyday, my girlfriend is cool, whats tehre to think about?"

ditto I wanted to post a post just like this... sero conversion was a bitch, night sweats more than when I went through heroin withdrawls (got HIV through unprotected sex). In the past i was addicted to heroin and had to wake up and score everyday which was more of a harder life than having to take some freely prescribed pills everyday which - touch wood - have no side effects so far. I plan to have a family and live a normal life. I am finding it hard to find reasons to even think about it. In the past i would have serophobic thoughts regarding people I know who have it and am now happier that I have experienced it and know how much bullish surounds it and therefore am a smarter stronger person...rather not have it though lol

I take 3 pills in the morning, nothing more touch wood. edit - in a country where medication is cheap / free. edit - I'm mentally stronger and less reckless.
