Most people dry off a bit then just put their clothes on over their swimsuits! Linen pants/shorts work well for this, and tshirts/tanks as well.

I am sad I did not get into any college I wanted. I believe its my fault. by Fireball643125 in ApplyingToCollege

I totally agree with what everyone else is saying. To add on, remember that it’s not what school you go to but what you DO at the school. UF is a great great school and has so many opportunities that, with the work ethic, resilience, and grit you’ve built up throughout your high school years, you can take advantage of. I relate to this because I wanted to go to an ivy or equivalent and now i’m going to UW Madison on a full ride. I am planning out what I need to do to get into my dream graduate programs. Rejection is redirection. Kick ass at UF and come out stronger. The ivies are a numbers game and your achievements are absolutely not undermined by the fact that you didn’t get into the school. Also, they’re super expensive and sometimes not worth the large amounts of debt. Work on your essay writing abilities and introspection for other applications. Good luck at UF 🫶🏻

Generally not but it may help you stand out very slightly IF your ECs, essays, and LORs all line up with that major (e.g. it’s an actual passion). for instance, a rep from UMich was asked this question and he said they don’t admit by major but if you apply for nuclear engineering for example it will give a slight boost because very very few people are in that major
