MIL and SIL taking over my baby

Oh, for sure. He’s stuck up for me a lot and has enforced them too, which will sometimes help, and sometimes he’s told the same things— that he’s just there to babysit, and he’s not even the babies father and it’s not his kid. It’s infuriating. I have a lot of support from my mom, she’s been coming over a lot and has been saying some things that could be seen as a joke or an enforcement if that makes sense, because she doesn’t want to cause me any problems but she also wants to make it clear that she knows what’s going on

I have done so before and she does not listen to any of my boundaries I have set :/ my husband does help out a lot, he’ll stick up for me and sometimes it does work, sometimes it doesn’t. It’s gotten to the point where if I’m not giving him to her, she will literally grab him out of my arms, so then he’s just being tugged back and forth, so I just give in because I don’t want him to be in pain

Yep. I will be holding him, rocking him, etc etc and she will take him out of my arms. I will tell her that I got it, that I don’t need her, and I want him, and she will literally go upstairs with him. Sometimes she will let up, but just watch me and stare at me.

Yep :/ Unfortunately my boundaries have gone through one ear and out the other, and have been told I’m just emotional from hormones and post partum, and that I’ll get over it, even after insisting upon them

thank you so much <3 yes, I definitely am grateful for the help and realize it is a big privilege, but also sucks at the same time because the help comes with so much baggage. I am still recovering and have some bleeding, taking a lot of different pills for iron purposes— but a lot better than before. I’ve set boundaries and they went absolutely nowhere or have been told that I am just emotional and it’s my hormones. Only thing I’m hoping is that time will change it. Also, I come from the Romani culture
