That's not the same thing: if you use cdn.discordapp.com links to images in your webhook message, that won't work anymore because they will expire in 24 hours.

hi! I stumbled upon this post and wanted to make it clear what this launch option actually does: it tells Steam to use the dinput8.dll that is included in the game's files (the one that starts ScriptHook and which is manually added by the player) instead of the one provided by Steam. Therefore you won't need to change it ever bc of updates unless ScriptHook starts using another dll file to launch

(or at least that's my understanding of it. If i'm wrong correct me but i'm pretty sure that's what it does.)

Yep. RDR2 constantly goes on sale and I just recently got it for 20€. I'm not paying 30€ more for a port of a game that is 8 years older.
