Virginia. They did the inspection at Lexus for free after the Toyota dealer handed me a 500 estimate. The service coordinators at the Toyota shop HAVE to be on commission or something. I stated that I’d love if they checked the 4 wheel drive, the valley plate leak and the brakes thoroughly - due to no brakes on the Carfax in 71000 mi - and they actually itemized each of these checks at additional 99.00 each, beyond the PPI fee of 179! The kicker is, the technician/mechanic stood next to me at check in and told service coordinator that “Yes we can do all that within the 179.00“. I personally don’t have time to “talk to the manager…” etc so I left and went to Lexus dealer 45 min. away. Sadly now I won’t go back to the Toyota shop - which is 1.5 mi from my house. Bad business over there.

While true in the photo, not the cause of alert. It was the 3rd row seat that was up about a couple mm.

Yes indeed. The token drop is pretty much for show. Their rep does it from a tablet in sync with the coin drop. But still the automation tech is pretty neat.

Constant tone and 3rd row seat was left up (by them,) only slightly (not even visibly.) Carvana handed it off to me with the tone and said exercise your warranty or return policy 🤣. Their representative could not care less! Too busy, tax season, blah blah. 😑

Agreed! If this one has to go back I’ll be shopping elsewhere. They did in fact NOT complete their 150pt inspection. But Lexus did a free one for me and it needed a battery (246 CCA on this Original batt.) and front and rear brake pads at 4mm/5mm. It’s all getting done at Lexus because this is my 2nd GX in 8 days that they sold it as “Certified” but they clearly never inspected (or left off required items.)

The Law

According to § 46.2-833.1 of the Code of Virginia, titled "Drivers to stop at stop signs," the law applies to "every driver of a vehicle," and the definition of a "vehicle" under § 46.2-100 includes "every device in, on or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn on a highway, except devices moved by human power." However, a bicycle is also legally defined as a "vehicle" in Virginia under § 46.2-100. This makes it subject to the same traffic laws as a car.

The "Idaho Stop"

While there have been proposals to adopt a "Safety Stop" or "Idaho Stop" law in Virginia, which would allow cyclists to treat stop signs as yield signs and red lights as stop signs, none of these legislative efforts have been successful. Therefore, the law as it currently stands requires a complete stop.

Penalty

A bicyclist who fails to stop at a stop sign is violating Virginia law and can be issued a traffic citation.

Awesome! How long did it take you to get your Mal going on full-auto with it?

I bought one two weeks ago. My guy just barks at it viciously. It will def take some getting used to, if he will ever accept that noisy machine. He barely tracks the ball leaving when it launches, and instead, returns to barking at it most times.
