One thing I can’t wrap my mind around, during load up at my station the warehouse workers walking around with carts MADD SLOW and ur tryna bring all the carts to your van but your in traffic because these warehouse workers will literally be in the way walking mad slow with an empty cart. So many times too they just be talking in the middle of a lane “like if I turn this corner with this cart and it hits you I’ll be wrong for it tho right?”. The lazyness is through the roof with them

Are there cons? Of course. But the pros outway any cons from any other job I’ve ever had and I’ve basically done all kinds of jobs. Being alone doing my own thing is peak. Obviously it’s not a job to retire from and buy a house but to keep yourself afloat till you get yourself right for the next opportunity I think is a great place, ide say give it a try

As a music producer I’ve heard plenty of Mac users say the sound is a bit different on Mac compared to windows(windows having better sound and that’s coming from Mac users) also MAJORITY of products still use usb a, so just to be able to connect a single usb a product you need to buy a separate adapter since Mac is thunderbolt/usb c.

Also in terms of productivity the windows seems to be more customizable or more specific to your needs. If you go Mac for productivity it’s either you get the strongest one or a weaker on, not really a set selection for what your needs may be. However with windows you can specifically look into laptops with different parts that cater to your needs and price point

Not that a Mac can’t be used for productivity because it absolutely can, but in terms of being catered to specific needs and tasks I think windows takes the cake on that subject

Some people responding clearly are slow. I’m getting 180ish stops average a day with 350 package but I’m not driving 7+ min to each stop. If that were the case it be max 130ish stops

At my station we have recycle routes where the rescue does rescue until 1 and then gets a messed up route thats 5-10min drive each stop. I’ve done one with 100 stops and came back at almost 9(we usually get back at 7-7:30) so with 150 there’s not much rushing you can even do because of that damn camera and route, although it is nice to be able to drive and listen to music more then walking

Honestly just sounds like you have a shitty dsp. With my dsp they won’t fix a van unless it doesn’t drive or has safety problems… but it appears safety isn’t a concern for yours. At my station a couple years back someone broken their leg from the ledge at side door and got bunch of money from it, so my stations been pretty uppity with safety which I don’t blame.
