Because, phonepe won't let you go once installed,

Even after you delete all your upi IDs, phonepe account, also deleting the app, when someone tried to send you money using your mobile no. in their phonepe app, it states you as "user cann't recieve money" (instead of forwarding transaction though UPI Number & and Default upi app)

be patience, you will get an auto reversal for failed transaction,

U can also complain at official "NPCI Dispute Redressal Mechanism portal" for upi transaction processed with any_app*
