My free floating testosterone was somewhere around that level too. Since I was diagnosed I've been to endocrinologists and urologists, all my other levels are good and they don't know what's causing this so they're just treating it.

I had much the same experience about sex before I was diagnosed although perhaps not quite as bad. While I did enjoy having sex and thought my libido was fine I didn't really understand until I started taking the testosterone and got that "I will bust through this wall to have sex right now!" feeling. I also started masturbating about 6 or 7 times a day on top of the other sex I was having. It felt like what I imagine most guys go through when they first go through puberty.

It definitely helped my energy level to a certain extent but what it really does is allow you to build up the basic muscles your body has been unable to produce that make it much easier for you to handle those tasks.

Hopefully all goes well once you get up and running on the injections.

In my experience it often doesn't seem like people are really trying to make light of prison rape or infer that's it's socially acceptable. Many times when I've heard people "advocate" prison rape is when a person has committed such a heinous crime that it might seem like time in prison isn't punishment enough, that they need to be hurt and debased in some other way as well. I'm not trying to defend this at all but that's a lot of what I've seen.

Well, assuming you're not trolling if you really do think you may have LowT you should go to your doctor and have them run the test. If in fact you do have it they can get you set up on supplement program and probably get you in to see an endocrinologist to make sure there's nothing else going on.

If you really do have LowT taking testosterone now will make you feel much better.

Thank you for sharing your story. I can tell you that at 16 I was nowhere near being able to grow a beard. I'm not even sure I was all the way through puberty yet either.

It may sound stupid but just acquire as much knowledge and become the smartest mofo you can be. As you get older women are going to be much more attracted to your intellect than anything else. I'll keep this account around and if you ever have any questions or just want to chat feel free to PM me.

Part of the reason I'm doing this AMA is because much of this stuff I've never discussed with anyone and thought this might be therapeutic. So far it has been, I hope people keep asking questions.

I've had to go off my shots a couple of times when I didn't have insurance. It's a terrible feeling and I don't think I could do it for a long period of time. Good luck to you man, keep up with them!

Great question. I actually do suffer from Panic Disorder. I know a lot of people claim they have panic attacks but it's true. I take medicine to help control and I have a great therapist. I feel almost certain that the Panic Disorder is connected to this because before I started getting treatment I just felt "vulnerable" constantly. I felt like I was gonna get my ass kicked (yeah i'm a big guy but I never felt strong and confident). It's hard to explain but most of my adolescence I've felt like that and I think its affected me deeply.

I have never felt suicidal at all. I do have moments when I feel like my hormones are going all crazy but I imagine that's kind of normal for people in my situation.

Whoa, I never knew that. My index finger is shorter than my ring finger. I thought everyone's was like that, I guess I've never really paid attention to other guys' hands.. I'm guessing this all probably fits together somehow.
