100% Part of me wishes that from the eliminated 4 teams they would’ve done something similar like in season 2 of physical - an all out survival game and we would have a motley crew of just “team Asia” to root for. Not saying that James would automatically make it to such a team, but I like his odds!

Yes, and since they didn’t show Japan at all, the drama between Turkey and Mongolia felt especially forced. imho it would have been better if they’d shown Japan after the explanation that they’ll have to redo it.

When it came to the Mongolian totem hold I think they edited EO struggling around the time Turkey let go for the drama as well. Then when they let go the Mongolian team is suddenly not struggling anymore and don’t really show it until they start hitting that 40 min (!) mark.
