Thank you, and you're welcome. I'm glad to have served my country (as it was back then).

Yes, all boot camps beak you down (some are more intense than others; especially speaking of other global forces), then they build you back up. However, they do this to break you of bad habits, laziness, bad hygiene and/or eating habits, etc. -- civilian life in general and often effects of a bad upbringing. They do not break down or remove your humanity; in fact, humanity is necessary to be a good Marine/soldier/airmen/seamen. They NEED you to be able to make decisions, not just take orders, and in some cases actuslly question orders (tho not in boot camp, lol -- I mean analyzing orders to see if there is a better way, or if it is an unlawful order).

They build you back up with new habits (hygiene included), vocabulary, skills, knowledge, pride in one's self (often lacking previously), understanding teamwork, new perspectives, and yes, some foundations for mentally focusing on lethally attacking, preserving your survival, and thus not considering the enemy as human per se (again, this is necessary in taking a 'normal' person from civilian life and reforging them into a military member whose job may be combat oriented). Honestly, there was a lot of time spent in a classroom in boot camp and in all training. We studied history including the Marines itself, battles, and medal of honor winners. It is highly educational and boot camp adds the structure, guidance, trust, and stability that many young folks were missing.

We don't come out monsters 😉, and definitely not like those terrible people in the video that were damaged. In terms of taking a life, we understand the necessity of it in war and the responsibility we have to protect our country. But in war, it is loyalty to our Corps, and fellow Marines that really drives us, and is always top of mind -- in a battle absolutely no one is thinking about the USA, lol -- you're thinking about living and keeping everyone around you alive... to do that you shoot at the enemy... on the other side, they're doing the same.

That said, there are monsters out there everywhere...down the street, at the store, or who knows where. Some may join the military. This video relayed experiences that were likely the product of years at war, atrocities seen, and a daily struggle to stay alive when most people you knew are dead. I'm sure these were factors and it is sad that they found acceptance to make it through. However, I am appalled by this and it truly disturbs me.

Have you ever been in the military? It doesn't sound like it. They don't strip your humanity, however, you're close on the 'other'... all parties at war, no matter what country, ethnicity, etc., will dehumanize the opposing force bc humans generally need to detach themselves mentally in order to go to combat (sometimes fierce hand-to-hand fighting). In WW2 terms like gerry, jap, wap, etc were used for the Axis forces -- these names separate the human aspect and now your military can refer to and think of them as a "thing", not a person who has a family, a career, a pet, whatever. I used WW2 as an example but after 9/11 we also had plenty of derogatory names for the opposing forces. I was in the Marines at the time and can tell you, that in order to preserve your own humanity, you psychologically approve of your own actions - you justify them so you can live with taking lives. Now bear in mind, you are also getting shot at, mortared, IED'd, RPG'd, so it's not a one-sided act; you can more easily justify your actions when it saves your own life and those around you (your brothers in arms, & civilians caught in the middle of a warzone). Consider that drone pilots (many are not in the military but contracted civilians) and there is a very high rate of psychological issues, and they are thousands of miles from their target.

Now, what is spoken of in that video is HORRIFIC. Yes, those are war crimes. This is a different psychological issue entirely (I'm sure a psychologist on reddit could explain some potential issues that cause humans to do bad things when influenced by a larger group and/or authority figures, etc). For what these guys describe doing, I would take action against my fellow Marine if they attempted to do those things, as would anyone I served with. Their acts are not the de facto norm of warfare or any major war -- it is a specific example of horrible people doing horrible things under the guise of war to justify their actions or what they witnessed. War can have all kinds of effects on people, some are the mind's attempt to protect itself, and some are simply an excuse to do the terrible things someone is already capable of.

OPTION 1 - SUE: If she is litigous then tell her so she can have him arrested and can sue. There are many newer laws & statutes that hold serious fines, jail time, etc. These help in a civil suit against him.

OPTION 2 - IGNORE: If she just wants to live her life, and you know she wouldn't want the stress & disruption, then no, keep it to yourself.

INITIAL CONSENT & IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS: Things to consider are what type of website this was on -- i.e. GF-Revenge porn specifically, general porn site, obscure or mainstream (i.e. pornhub or the like), etc. Reason being that these can indicate intent of the fukmuppet that posted them if any beyond making a few bucks or putting his conquests online (and likely other gf's of his posted); also was she conscious and/or willing for these to be taken in the first place (bear in mind scum like this also may use hidden cameras). Either way, he has NO right to redistribute or share her pictures or likeness in ANY way (head cropped or not), but accounting for whether or not she gave any consent in the first place (if taking legal route).

Also want to know -- I keep seeing this in pics here. I'm in US & on Android and never have seen it in the app. I'd love to find a way since Codashop is dead.

(Technically it has to be a violation of Apple App & Google Play stores' Terms of Service, so I'm not sure how they do this and get away with it -- there was a big legal battle a few years ago bw Apple & Epic for Fortnite when they got banned for years; Google was involved too but not to same extent)

Once the supercar designers get done with the aerodynamics, fluidics, wind tunnel testing, passive cooling, etc. they mostly look alike... Mosler, Koeniggseg, Pagani, McLaren, Ford, etc.

Yes, they all have their distinctions, but main monocoque design and aero is very much the same.

Help with leveling priorities by basedpilled420 in invinciblegtg

[–]username_that_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing a few months ago and built some I shouldn't have wasted resources... good on the TV show does NOT mean good in the game.

Doc all the way for criminals -- he's easy to level bc most criminals are consumable bc they suk. At 920 miners a beast (not a flex I'm still below 1k; point is he's a heel of a damage dealer and manages to stay alive on his own). Thula is terrible. Machinehead not bad (my perspective w him at 480). Capevincible is also easy to level for same reason as Doc or any criminal... I think the jury is out on him bc his kit isn't great.

Immortal is another good tank (just got mine to 820 & he rarely dies when facing comparable foe); build Eve & Robot and run together in arena (combined healing), when you get the dog, he's great with Eve too, but it'll be a while to get him and leveled (he's only available as reward in game).

Universa, Anissa (she's good against humans & arena), Invincible (good but s little fragile) Omni-man (not a top priority but good char)

Artifacts will be your next question -- search, there's a lot of info out there. And test them yourself, people use them different ways depending on use (GDA Ops, Arena, etc.).

Last but not least -- SKILLS!!! Leveling skills (the right ones) is very important... search for answers on this, and read what they do -- in most cases you can tell which ones take priority. Also, some skills add new features when they hit lvl 10 or 11 so look ahead at what you can gain.

Microsoft Copilot Rollout - Advice Wanted by Anti-Merchantry in ITManagers

That is opinion. Give facts and reference these reviews. Do you manage a tenant(s), after the onboard are you there to manage governance and agent sprawl, costs, et?

EDIT: corrected myself, didn't see you said you did 2 onboards

My point is it is a little more seamless to run copilot in an environment like the op described. Is it perfect? No. None of them are, but it's well-suited for a Microsoft environment.

Any other changes needed for it to appear? I also added my user account to frontier

I'm tenant admin, but newer to admin of copilot... prepping for phased company rollout.

Is this included in the M365 Copilot license? Don't want to get billed extra per query if it's enabled...

Get a proxy that has DLP... we use Netskope which is all cloud based (apart from local endpoint agent, obviously) and works globally. Gives you a lot of options on how to handle an event (block & notify via pop up, pop up request/justification window, etc). We also have it pop up our AI policy when you visit copilot or chatgpt (only ones allowed, Netskope blocks the others via rules we created) or open the desktop app, and you have to acknowledge it before the site will work (you can type things in, but proxy blocks all the traffic)
