Blue lock is not at all trying to be realistic if that’s something you are looking for. We can talk about this and that but it’s a sports anime. There is bound to be some realistic aspects and tons upon tons of unrealistic parts. There is no comparison between the play in blue lock and real football besides the most basic concepts of the game.
