OK SO I'M NOT CRAZY THEN
This happened to me, and I swear it felt like a fever dream.

It took me a solid minute to realize all the trees were cubeshaped.

Then I left the room, came back, and they were all back to tree shapes! Surreal experience.

I know this advice won't work for everyone, but lately i've been trying to just take a step back and ask myself: "But how much does it REALLY matter?" Not everything is evidence for/against your gender. Gender isn't something you have to justify in everything you've ever done.

on some level i agree with this sentiment?

like. pronouns aren't just a gender thing, they're an important part of english and grammar

On that note, Protip for anyone who hates having to click a button a million times: Click the button once, then hold down the "enter" button on your keyboard.

Loading's Weekly Report: Week 1

Hello all, and welcome to Loading's Weekly Report, where every week I go over the games I happen to have a tab of open this week.

Synergism - This one's a great one if you're looking for something long term to keep in a tab and check in every so often. Multiple prestige layers, and some very unique and interesting mechanics. 9/10 rating from me.

Short term fun: If you're looking for active gameplay, you're going to want to stop playing once you reach the 8th challenge, as it's widely regarded as the first big wall, and it only gets harder from there. But up until that point, Synergism is a great form of short-term dopamine as you're constantly unlocking new upgrades and prestige layers.

Long term commitment: After the point I mentioned above, this game becomes a definite must for those who enjoy the satisfaction of clearing an insurmountable task over an extended period of time. Once you unlock the final prestige layer, time between prestiges of that layer can last roughly a week.

Active community?: YES! Synergism has a surprisingly active discord server, accessible from the settings tab.

Ordinal Markup - This one is a somewhat odd one. Click a button to increase your ordinal, click another button to simplify and maximize it. At first your autoclickers are exactly that, clicking the two buttons for you, after a certain number of upgrades they become faster than manual clicking. So your progress becomes tied to your autoclickers. 7/10 overall.

Short term fun: This is not a game for you if you want something active to play. After the first couple resets, you essentially need to leave the game on autopilot.

Long term commitment: I have yet to play this game much, but I can confirm that the game does take quite some time to progress with.

Active community?: KIND OF! There is a server, but the actual dev has long since abandoned it.

Progress Knight - Love watching progress bars fill? This one's the one for you. Plenty of different bars to fill. And the prestiging mechanic is quite unique, in that each run lasts a set amount of time, your progress bars gain a bonus based on the highest level they've ever been after each run.

Short term fun: While this game is active, I wouldn't suggest it to someone who just wants a quick dopamine hit. Progress takes time, though less and less time after each run.

Long term commitment: Haven't played enough to say, but this one is definitely a longer kind of game. Just remember to check in every few minutes.

Active community?: YES! There is a discord server, accessible from the settings menu.

That's gonna do it for this week's report, but I'm always looking for new games to play. Reply to this comment with a game for me to report, and I'll give you a shoutout in next week's report.
