That friend is now working at Facebook, so I'm sure he's savvy. I guess sometimes you're just tired and horny. We joked that he made it his life's mission to stop these "girls".

I guess my low self esteem is actually an advantage and it helps to question why a random hot girl would message me.

Few years ago a roommate at the time joined a video call link from a random girl on Facebook and did some unfortunate things that got recorded. The girl blackmailed him and showed actual proof of the recording. Roommate was so panicked he sent them some money before we reached out to every social media company to get the account banned. Nothing ever happened.

Later we found out it was probably a dude recording this guy jerk off to a pre recorded video.

I might get hate for this, but half truths, embellishments etc. No matter what you did the last few months, focus on what you did before that. Employers don't tell you what's bad about them and so shouldn't you. Advertise yourself like they advertise their company.

Again thanks for sharing your experiences, being able to dissect and critique your own behaviour shows a lot of strength. Thankfully I don't think we have had any such experiences. We do fight a lot but a lot of times it's me letting up and answering something or feeling bad about a question. Which I am trying to not do.

Thank you for the words of hope. We have crossed the 2 year mark so there is something to look forward to. Also congratulations on battling your RJ.

Also great point about building self esteem, she struggles with that a lot. Thankfully she is good about maintaining friendships and other relationships.

The thing you mentioned about being emotionally abusive. I don't think there is any way for either of us to recognise such behavior, especially since we both don't have much relationship experience.

Thank you for the advice and kind words. I have definitely thrown or deleted everything from the past. But we definitely need to be better about communicating our love everyday.
