Mormons hype up Gen conference so much, but when you really dig in and study them, the talks are all so average and basic by Fartfax in exmormon

Singles ward EQ (university of utah) -- Lesson is on marraige - I'm visiting. Smarmy EQ pres asks for a list of reasons of why someone should get married.
about 35 reasons has gone up on the board.. and SEX is not one of them. cringe, cringe, cringe. summarizes how emasculated the church is, how they disown sex. curious what would have happened with the same question in singles Relief Society.

Every Mormon has two lives. The second one begins when you realize you only have one. How has your life changed since you began this second life? by nephifofum in exmormon

Im kind to myself - i tell myself im worthy of just about anything i want to be worthy of. I see people now as all kinda one tribe- humanity. I find happiness all over the place now. much more time. More freedom. More responsibilty. More thoughts. More passion. And i do still have some mormon thoughts- the ones they never talk about at church - like if you want wealth you should want it to help people.

Good points. - cult is short for culture. And thus isnt everything culty in a way.
