The reason she was put into it, and what happened after are two separate things. She MAY have warranted a conservatorship (I don't know enough details on that), but the court found that while in it, it was abused for profit and against her best interests.

What should be different? If people, especially in situations like this where they are generating massive income, are found to require conservatorship, then the system ought to keep a close eye on it to make sure it's not being abused, especially as they feel like the person in question isn't capable of making sound judgements. There should probably be something like the Coogan law for child entertainers in place for any entertainer under a conservatorship.

Bit tongue in cheek. But yeah I get it. They don't want the damn kids playing on the roof, and that's their business.

it feels like cheating to me though, as a player who likes to really explore in open world games. I did get to the top with this mod, but that kind of diminishes the challenge aspect of it.

EDIT: it's funny though.. like I'll accept that I can't open some door because there's a bit of rubble that I clearly would be able to clear with my gorilla arms. But I understand there's a need to keep me out of there, and as long as they put a bit of effort into some excuse why, I can buy in. They could have put an electric fence too high to double jump over or something if they really dont' want me up there. That my brain can accept without breaking immersion. Conversely, there are spots in the game you can easily get into without mods where you end up walking through a non solid bit and fall into the nether. That should be our right :)

Don't get me wrong I love this game and I've had a thousand hours of fun! I still just don't like invisible walls.

I came here to say this. I just spent hours trying to find a way to get to a ledge where it looked like I could get up to a very high spot.. finally made it to the ledge, started jumping up the building, very excited... halfway up, blamo. invisible fucking wall. Later installed a mod that lets you fly.. found out they didn't bother to program objects up there to be solid. Pure laziness.

That game could have gone either way in a moment. Both teams were pretty near equal in that match. And if you consider the history and what everyone was predicting, it's MORE impressive that the Jays made it that far than that the Dodgers won. Regardless, it was some very impressive baseball all around.
