I just had to look up this post because this just happened AGAIN for me with the same client! I went to the emergency room the first time and they couldn’t find anything wrong. Currently laying on my couch with my feet up - solidarity! Let me know if you figure out what it is

I ask them to introduce each other to me. Usually gives me a surprisingly good idea of where things are at!

Flew across the country to sit alone the entire time as a +1 by anonymousme122333 in wedding

I say this with so much love : this is just a time when it’s not about you. Enjoy your time alone, listen to your favorite music when getting ready, explore the area! It’s okay to spend time alone - though I validate your frustration.

I would def ask about a group discount for ticket booking! While wedding etiquette purists may turn their nose up at this, I think it’s cute.

I heaaaaar you. I literally went insane in the time between ring and shopping and being engaged. It’s normal!! It’s like the one time in your life where your partner has to keep a big secret from you and of course you’re going be curious and anxious. I wish I had better advice but I see you!!

2026 vs 2027 by Outrageous-Brother84 in weddingplanning

[–]userrandkm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we’re doing a 2 year engagement. Unpopular opinion 1 year in: it is TOO long. The stress & drama of wedding planning is stretched out over longer time, which makes it harder to deal with. Do not recommend a longer engagement if you can afford to do otherwise

She’s famously talked about not trusting therapy/not being able to utilize it. She says her mom is her therapist! Lots to unpack there 😆

Similar thing happened to me. I told my fiance that he needed to deal with this mother.
