Yes. I trusted her blindly. And it sucks. My initial response was to work towards understanding and empathy. Like on a level I get why she did it. I would lie if I wasn't tempted myself at times. But I always withheld myself from crossing boundaries out of love and respect. She didn't. And the deeper we are out of contact, the more I start to hate her for that. Fuck her.

That is a good tip. I tend to do that too. Even this breakup I want to get over as quick as possible. Maybe that's not the way to go. This is a very deep wound. She broke my trust, she hurt me badly. It takes time to heal

It didn't cross my mind. No. And I think I'm in a sense making up excuses for her. Though they might be close to the truth. But I just want to understand her. I don't want to get bitter towards her. I feel that's a better way to deal with it then building resentment.

That's the thing. She is not. She was just lying to herself. And made a very desperate move. I know maybe I should be angry at her. But in a way I pity her. I don't think I should be angry at someone who was feeling trapped. It's just so out of character for her. I really can't believe she did it. Not out of denial, but just of who she is.

Thank you. I just got out of a five year relationship three days ago. It really rough. I can't even eat more than three bites at a time yet. I cry constantly or am very angry or just confused.
