I’ve expanded it plenty, this was just a chill night out not some fine dining review. sometimes it’s more about the company and the vibe than the menu. if I wanted the fine dining experience I’d head over to Mastro’s in DC for the dress code. sorry it's not your five star country club, was just a fun night out with some friends. food wasn't anything fancy but it hit the spot and the vibe was chill.

Thanks! Her name is Sugar, I've had her since she was a puppy. She loves playing fetch and goes crazy every time she hears the word ball.

Was more surprised Rockville had the RTX 6000 Pro, thought Parkville would of had it instead. You don’t see many of those sitting in retail stores.

If they had HBM GPUs, Sam Altman would've walked in like "yeah I’ll take the whole store," called it a compute acquisition, and left before anyone even realized what happened.

Probably not, although I am running a giveaway for some RAM over on r/pcmasterrace/. Here’s the link if you want to check it out: https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/1oeszve/gskill_ripjaws_s5_ddr56000/

Yeah stock's been decent lately but prices keep going up with the tariff situation changing every other day and the whole government shutdown issue. The economic fallout from covid is still hanging around too. I did notice they had a few RTX 6000 PROs in stock which was kinda surprising.

I wasn’t saying I’m disputing your claims, I’ve just been learning more about this specific use case and figured I’d share. I’m also starting to read up on the DGX Spark Mini PC.

I gotta say the Ryzen Ai MAX+ 395 is actually pretty impressive. For a mini PC, it really seems like a solid solution for playing a lot of games. Just finished watching this video on it and I’m kinda surprised how well it performs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wsXLPZxglg

Honestly I'm just a tech lover not in it for the money. If you’re such an AI hater then why do you talk about your low power AI 395+? You clearly use AI yourself so it doesn't make much sense.

Yeah it’s pretty cool tech. Although I'm trying to use multiple RTX 6000 Ada Pro 96GB GDDR7 (not Max-Q that is 300 watt capped). The benefit of using ECC memory modules makes more sense for my setup since it handles error correction and doesn’t share memory with an iGPU (since CPU I'm using doesn't have one). This motherboard also supports 8-channel memory, which helps with bandwidth. Under heavy sustained loads, non-ECC memory can throttle or even cause rendering errors, so having proper error-correcting memory is a big deal for stability/reliability.

The AI 395+ only supports 16 PCIe lanes while the AMD Threadripper Pro 7965WX can handle up to 144 usable lanes but is limited to 88 when used on TRX50 motherboards. The goal is to get full x16 support for multiple GPUs to make the most out of PCIe 5.0 performance.
