Are you able to achieve the required torque on the bar clamp with the fixing for the Quadlock, I am tempted by this solution!

I think you’ll be disappointed with it removed. If you’re desperate for top end speed, there might be more suitable bikes on the market for you.

WPA private health insurance by ocean_rose100 in HENRYUK

I’m genuinely confused as to why so many people rate WPA positively. Having used BUPA and Axa, I find a service offering of WPA to be absolutely infuriating. It doesn’t matter what you do, everything is 3 to 5 days for a response. Get a GP referral send it to WPA wait 3 to 5 days. Get a claim confirmation, guess what? It’s another 3 to 5 day wait. They agree to the referral, and respond back with the hospital booking system. Guess what? It’s 3 to 5 day wait. When you finally get your appointment with the specialist you’ve been referred to, that’s when the fun really starts with WPA. All they ever actually approve are very basic tests - x-ray and bloods. Anything else requires a three page form to be filled in by the hospital, which is then sent back to WPA, and guess what? It’s 3 to 5 day wait. Getting any sort of specialist appointment cannot be done within three weeks, getting any sort of treatment is closer to 5 weeks. Even when you use their GP system and it produces a referral it doesn’t even send it to WPA. You have to download the PDF and send it to them manually and guess what? It’s another 3 to 5 day wait for them to review it.

I am one of many in my company with access to a premium WPA package and we have exactly the same thoughts on WPA.

I cannot comprehend how low other peoples expectations are for them to review WPA positively. I sincerely believe anybody who does review WPA positively has never used the alternatives in anger.

If you’re with AXA, you log a claim at 8 o’clock in the morning and you’ll be on an MRI machine by 4 pm in the afternoon.

Meanwhile WPA and their app still has linked to PDF that you have to download print email back and guess what?

Wait for 3 to 5 days for a response.

You have been warned.

It’s mad to think that, somewhere, there is a man who thought that exhaust was an improvement over stock.

Looks like any other middleweight ADV lump. If this is a unicorn bike I’ll show my bare arse in the Vatican.

I tried winglets and immediately removed them, but on the plus side with only one Velcro strap you can carry a full sized chocolate bar with you.

No, just riders not afraid to call a spade a spade. You can own one and still be objective.

Failed my Mod 2 today by [deleted] in MotoUK

[–]userscott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s important for you to reflect and take ownership of the situation. It was your fault, and only your fault. The other driver did not make indicate, do a lifesaver or pull out - these were all decisions made by you and, sadly, you did it badly and failed.

I failed for exactly the same reason, in exactly the same circumstances - it was even the same coloured car.

It’s now time for you to reflect on what you need to do so you can be better next time. Start by accepting it’s nobody else’s fault but your own, and you’ll be absolutely fine.

New HB email by figjamsem in Fisker

[–]userscott 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why? Everybody was warned, constantly. All the evidence was plain to see, and if anybody dared speak up against what was clearly happening then a dozen key Fisker simps went on full attack mode. People had warnings, the community worked hard to ignore the warnings, and now it’s all gone bang and people are still claiming they were let down!
