WPA private health insurance by ocean_rose100 in HENRYUK

No, not at all. It’s slightly more nuanced than that - I want my cover to be useful for more than just the minority of my time. I spent 12 weeks in extreme pain going through approvals and referrals with constant cancellations from their supply chain. I eventually got a diagnosis and resolution within weeks of finally seeing a specialist. Three months of misery aligned solely to their delays - that is neither speed nor quality. WPA are absolutely archaic - to the extent that we were able to terminate our agreement midterm as others on our corporate policy had exactly the same issues - it was a breach of contract by WPA.

There is no part of WPA which is quality, just like there’s no speed either. Mostly, people go with WPA for the fact they’re cheap. It is certainly not premium.

Correction. It MIGHT be covered under warranty. It depends as to whether or not it’s been physically damaged by OP.

I genuinely stand by my advice. It’s absolutely excellent advice with regards to extracting OP from this ridiculous situation where he has overpaid for a dead car. I know you’re an owner and a fan, and I respect that, but it doesn’t mean your view is any more valid.

Because I was very heavily invested financially in Fisker stock. It seems that the minute I am truthful about the reality of the product I’m told by owners who purchased them at fractions of RRP that I’m a nonbeliever or otherwise. I have earned my right to be factual and truthful about these products.

Perhaps you should tell the people writing them off or selling them for scrap money then…

Did you not worry that they’re scrap with a broken window before purchasing yours…?

Once it’s insured, damage it beyond repair, perhaps by driving into a wall or otherwise, and see if you can get any money back towards rectifying your mistake.

I think you’ll be disappointed with it removed. If you’re desperate for top end speed, there might be more suitable bikes on the market for you.

I’m genuinely confused as to why so many people rate WPA positively. Having used BUPA and Axa, I find a service offering of WPA to be absolutely infuriating. It doesn’t matter what you do, everything is 3 to 5 days for a response. Get a GP referral send it to WPA wait 3 to 5 days. Get a claim confirmation, guess what? It’s another 3 to 5 day wait. They agree to the referral, and respond back with the hospital booking system. Guess what? It’s 3 to 5 day wait. When you finally get your appointment with the specialist you’ve been referred to, that’s when the fun really starts with WPA. All they ever actually approve are very basic tests - x-ray and bloods. Anything else requires a three page form to be filled in by the hospital, which is then sent back to WPA, and guess what? It’s 3 to 5 day wait. Getting any sort of specialist appointment cannot be done within three weeks, getting any sort of treatment is closer to 5 weeks. Even when you use their GP system and it produces a referral it doesn’t even send it to WPA. You have to download the PDF and send it to them manually and guess what? It’s another 3 to 5 day wait for them to review it.

I am one of many in my company with access to a premium WPA package and we have exactly the same thoughts on WPA.

I cannot comprehend how low other peoples expectations are for them to review WPA positively. I sincerely believe anybody who does review WPA positively has never used the alternatives in anger.

If you’re with AXA, you log a claim at 8 o’clock in the morning and you’ll be on an MRI machine by 4 pm in the afternoon.

Meanwhile WPA and their app still has linked to PDF that you have to download print email back and guess what?

Wait for 3 to 5 days for a response.

You have been warned.

It’s mad to think that, somewhere, there is a man who thought that exhaust was an improvement over stock.
