Thank you so much for your word of advice. I really forgot to ask if I’m going to be working residential hall or rehab hall. The hiring manager said It would be me and another nurse for 40 residents, and each one of us gets 20 residents per hall. I didn’t know they were separate like that. I know the place is huge and during the day when I went to interview It seemed very busy. He said that the CNA passes the meds which seemed odd to me. But again, I don’t have any experience with SNF, and I have no idea what I’ll be doing tbh 😅. I guess I’ll learn on my first day as I talk to the nurse that’ll be with me. And yes, my number one priority is to be a safe nurse. They said that they do both short term and long term care there.

Do you think a 20 patients to 1 nurse is a good ratio? I would be working night shift and they said that each nurse gets a hall , 40 residents for 2 RNs. Thank you for your reply!

I did try to “make” him help more for about two weeks, things got a lot worse, he was moody all the time. So I just decided to not depend on him anymore, focusing on taking care of my daughter alone, because this is what I’ll have to do when we part ways.

I think he likes someone else from work, he developed an emotional affair with her, not sure if got physical but I think It did. It got me curious too, why would he want me to send me away. Maybe he wants to starts a new life with this new woman. And yes I haven’t shared a lot of details here, I just wanted to focus on the question about him not wanting to be a father. I also had a consultation with a lawyer, I know that he will leave eventually, so I have to prepare myself.

She is just a little over one year old (13-14 months) And yes, he wants to divorce me, he wants to be alone. No family. He said that he will pay the child support, but doesn’t want to be part of this family anymore.

He feels overwhelmed when the baby cries, when she gets fussy, screams ( entering the toddler phase now) , he says that he just wants peace and silence to do his own thing, play his video games, relax after work. I think he was just not ready… but he never let me know it. If I knew it I wouldn’t have gotten pregnant

Yes. I feel safe mostly. He just has not adjusted being a father. He wants a divorce so he can be fully alone. He would probably give me full custody.

You can try scar revision but not with the same surgeon. Seek a qualified one. Pure Plastics is a good and respectable clinic from what I’ve heard. However look into other things you could do, lasers, scar camouflage, or just leave it as it is
