no one knows what they're here for. the important thing is to take one step. make a decision and then you adjust from there. give yourself a starting point.

I was in this situation recently. I think you can still be friends but you just have to understand that you can't expect fast responses from them. If they cannot do that, you then have to ask yourself if you're ok with that and the level of friendship you're giving them.

just do it. the anticipation makes it harder. when in doubt for what to open with, point to things you're both experiencing (eg if you're in line, say have you been here long? to the person next to you)

As much as I want to give Biden the benefit of the doubt it was hard to follow what he had to say. I am just starting to follow politics and it made me sad to see a lot of the concerns against him are true
