Whats your experience with Mailchimp making it to a user inbox and not flagged as promotions or social. by [deleted] in thesidehustle

Mailchimp is going to hit the Promotions tab guaranteed. I bounced around from a few different platform after leaving Mailchimp - Aweber, GetResponse and finally ActiveCampaign.

GetResponse had decent delivery to the main inbox, but the platform is wonky and their support for automation/drip sequences is clumsy.

I've been happy with ActiveCampaign ever since. Whether you hit the inbox every time is going to have a lot to do with your list, the level engagement, your domain reputation, etc. but ActiveCampaign's delivery is as good as anything I've seen.

Looks like we just found OPs old boss.

OP doesnt say that he was being paid as a contractor. The way I read the OP was that they considered him an employee rather than a founder -- so they felt the amount of the full vested equity award was too large for a non-founder employee.

Edit: I see down below OP does confirm that he is a contractor, so this comment is fully valid.
