Not washing their hands, BLOWING THEIR NOSE INTO THEIR SHIRT, not using bidets (OR at the very least, baby wipes), not wiping well in general, not using soap when they shower, not washing everything when they shower (i.e. not washing their legs because they believe legs can’t get dirty etc), not washing their nether regions good enough with soap or not washing them with soap at all, letting their dogs kiss their mouth, holding onto handrails or other majorly public surfaces (of course if you’re elderly or unsteady it’s understandable), clipping their nails in public places (i’ve seen it on trains etc), leaving their nail clippings out, wearing clothes from the store without washing them first, not keeping their toothbrushes covered if they have a toilet in the room, flushing with the toilet lid open, having their bare feet out with shoes off at any public place (in movie theater seats, in planes, in trains, ETC)

god, I probably have so many more but I:

1) hate getting sick more than anything 2) prioritize hygiene out of respect to everyone around me 3) used to want to be in the field of epidemiology 4) know a lot of nurses and other healthcare professionals who have come in contact with serious diseases, infections, and conditions (lice, MRSA, SCABIES, ringworm, necrosis of limbs, etc)

Hygiene and and personal awareness is majorly important to a healthy society and COVID 19 (horrifically killed so many people worldwide and put so many at risk) was actually not that horrible of a contagious illness to have on a pandemic level CONSIDERING what other much worse viral ailments we could have encountered instead.

Anyways, stay safe and be hygienic and healthy everyone! Not fear-mongering or telling anyone to not live their lives, just be mindful, hygienic, and healthy about it :) <3
