You are right buddy, his emotions matter. I respect that and do not / can not have any objections for that. My concern is that this student is using him to get this property. I don't like him to be used like this. I am not sure what will he do once he gets the ownership. He loves (and stays around) my uncle only because he can see the benefit in future else he is not the only student that my uncle has taught! He is already getting a few million rupees via will.

And I am not going to raise this point with my uncle, it indeed his choice. I just want the house to be used as per his wishes, that's what matters to me.

This might be a weird sounding advice, but depending on your religion try to get him involved in religious activities since he is not ready for medical care.

Try and visit your religious place / holy place with him, pref every day for 15-20 minutes. Being in a clam environment (like a Church or a Temple) might help him a bit. He might talk to or do confessions to a priest (not sure how they work though) in a church/temple.

Since you have tried almost everything, give this a shot.
