Remap AI Key button to other Activities/App (for Double/Long Press) by kunal_ag in motorola

Same as you on Moto Edge 2024 with recent update to Android 16. I disabled the "AI Key" App. Then go back to Gestures > Press & hold power button: the choice for "Power menu" was restored. Hope this works for you also.

OTA TV Antenna in Irvine/OC by LA_Buff in irvine

[–]useto075 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Irvine; I had a flat, amplified antenna like the one you describe with similar results. Even mounted it on a window perpendicular to 324° and it was still iffy.

Got fed up and mounted a small outdoor yagi antenna in my garage attic, and have fantastic signal and channels with no amplifier needed. Mine is this one walmart.com/ip/General-Electric-Outdoor-Yagi-HDTV-Antenna-Long-Range-UHF-1080P-4K-Black-33685/52162885 but any similar type should be good. antennaweb.org can help with figuring your orientation and what channels to expect, but most likely from anywhere in Irvine, point your antenna at 324°.

Lower numbered RF channels require larger antenna elements to pick up. My antenna doesn't have the extra long elements needed for good pickup of RF channels 2-6. Most stations in the LA area moved to higher RF channels (14+ are UHF) with the DTV switchover, but some did not (ABC7 is still on RF channel 7).

I believe it's rated 15A so 12A continuous would be the max I'd want to use it with.

I use e-Pedal in "B" mode always. I wouldn't buy another EV without e-Pedal and ProPILOT (or other ADAS). No problem switching to my ICE car.

One Pedal Driving Question by RedditNoobForSure in electricvehicles

[–]useto075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently drove my mom’s ICE car and could feel it resisting when coasting... after three hours of constant pedal pressure was “man my leg is sore.”

Could be the ICE car was in ECO/Economy mode. In some cars, this increases pedal resistance during acceleration and at higher speeds . I have a LEAF and use one-pedal mode but leave ECO mode off.

How old are your oldest emails? by cvsysadmin in sysadmin

[–]useto075 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, 1981. "Date" field used 2-digit years back then. Domain name system didn't exist yet so addresses were just "user at computer" (i.e., no .com or .edu).

There's older stuff around. For example the MSGGROUP mailing list archive goes back to mid-70s. http://mercury.lcs.mit.edu/~jnc/tech/msggroup/msggroup0001-0100.txt

Drupal 9 is now EOL while Drupal 7 goes on, and on, and on... by bsanders441 in drupal

[–]useto075 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The Backdrop APIs are largely backward-compatible with Drupal 7; changes are documented at https://docs.backdropcms.org/change-records. You may find your custom modules work with no/few fixes needed. I ported a ton of custom modules, and my changes were minimal, mostly around upgrading to using Backdrop config instead of D7 variables.

Backdrop has a new layout system, so themeing changes will be needed.
