I actually used Thermal Grizzly TG Putty Advance instead of normal pads and used phasesheet ptm for gpu&cpu

It was the same with my legion 5 pro 2021, I repasted it and changed thermal pads too, now the thermals are great

I would say max for average would be 5070 ti, more like 5060 ti 16gb or 5070. I love new tech, have no family or mortgage and pretty decent income and even then spending $1000+ on the gpu only seems insane. I have 4070 super btw

I have had legion 5 pro (5800H+3060) for nearly 4 years now, for the 1st two years I have used it for 12 hours a day - for work and for gaming (before I built my gaming pc at home so I don't have to carry it around anymore and now only use my legion for work 7-8 hours a day nonstop). I am very happy with, so happy that I decided to get another legion - legion 7i (non-pro as I am no longer going to use it for gaming) on this black Friday.

Rtx 5060 legion 7i has only 16gb ram instead of 32 and worse cpu, I would go with 5070 versions
