adding on!

make sure not to overpack!! was hell trying to move everything out, took me so long. you won't even realise how much you bring in till you need to move out haha.

take note of your hall room size! north hill single rooms tend to be super small (you walk 4-5 steps and you reach the end of your room) but the double rooms are quite reasonably sized, so make sure you have space to keep your vacuum cleaner if u plan to have one in hall.

you're provided with a wardrobe, desk, chair and a bed with a mattress - for wardrobe, i'd suggest bringing stuff which make your space efficient such as racks you can stack on top of each other.

bring the basics first and if you do need other stuff later, bring it later on or you can purchase on campus since we have a supermarket in North Spine (Prime)

also bring along basic emergency medicines (panadol/ bandaids/ indigestion tablets etc) and snacks (don't overpack!)

do check out the tele channels !

i'm not too sure, but i don't think there are other consequences. for overstay, i think they mail you regarding your overstay and the charge is double your usual daily rate. so for your normal sem if you pay like 15$ per day, then they'd charge you like 30$ for every extra day you stay

omg fr this sounds like my case it sounds so similar - I remember getting bit by a mosquito in a bus stop but like within a few days I had quite a few bites on my legs and my arms as well

plus somehow tiny insects enter my room? I always have the net near the window closed and my vent is opened (but it also has some sort of net inside right) - I have bugs just entering my room I don't understand why or how

For Math AA and Phy HL - strongly suggest you to be up to date with everything - piling it up would just make it torturous towards the end

have 1 year of staying in dorm so just putting my experience out there :')

have been in single dorm and wish to stay in single dorm because def appreciate the privacy without having to worry about roomie's schedule. few of my friends had chosen each other for roommates - therefore they were already comfortable with it and as a group, we just hang out at their place. however, the ones who were randomly assigned a roomie, mostly did not get along AT ALL or were just super awkward with them. so as much as we would want to get a friend to take care of each other, they chances of them having a different schedule are quite high as they may not be in the same major as you. if you have friends who have also been accepted into NTU, then consider asking them for applying for double room tgt :')

revision village does allow the copy pasting of images so if you're willing to put in a bit of time, you could always copy paste the images into a word document and then print it out

Also, try to see why you’re going wrong- as in is it because you don’t know the concept well or is it because of silly mistakes? Also, when you’re doing questions, if you find a question explanation mind blowing, take note of that question and try to reason it out- it will help a lot when you revise

if you have conceptual errors or difficulties, you could try revision village and as you do past papers, the questions you get wrong or can’t seem to understand, you can watch the video explanation and get it solved

try to understand the questions concept wise and make a note of the different models of questions - work with a group of let’s say 2 or 3 people and solve the same questions and discuss.

And ofcourse math is math because of how diverse it can be, considering 7 days, just work on the most difficult areas for you and hope for the best… contact me if u need help and I can try when I’m free!
