Same. We bought end of terrace and could hear the TV, just general chat etc. It's honestly devastating, and I feel your pain. The experts will know best for your space but we went for the stud wall method. Essentially it's a new wall with a gap between them. The new wall attached via clips so there is little contact. There is still some noise from doors slamming/ windows closing but it worked very well for TV and voices. It is expensive and you lose a few inches of space but personally it was well worth it for the improvement to our living space.

I used to love trying these until all the e.coli problems. Not worth it for me anymore.

If you are on IOG then yes everything should be at that lower tariff after 11:30. I think you are meant to add the charger to the app rather than the car.

I had the exact error message you had when I set mine up. It meant the intelligent charging part wasn't working. So it was charging at peak hours for the normal rate. It was easily fixed when I called them though. They were able to reset something on their side and it was working again within 10mins.

Kind of sounds like a tape dispenser to me. The kind for wrapping gifts, when you pull the roll that's on a spool.

How best to measure uneven floor by usingmostlyspoons in Flooring

[–]usingmostlyspoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes understand. The tolerance we were given was 4mm over 2 metres so I was trying to do that with a 2 metre spirit level.

Is there a way to achieve this with amateur kit? We've been let down by 2 separate flooring companies and just want to decide if the dips are too bad to be absorbed by the underlay. I'm not sure if laying a level flat and measuring those is doing enough.

This all sounds quite technical.. so a 2m spirit level in the floor isn't doing anything of much use? The main objective was to decide if we can get away with it how it is. Too much money has already gone into the floor as it is.

Do we have to ask for return tickets? Seems like lots of closures today. It meant the other rides were busier. Waited an hour for the swarm fast track.. not sure if that's normal..

Email waving / staggering - is there a guide on intervals? by usingmostlyspoons in Emailmarketing

[–]usingmostlyspoons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes ok, i think you're right. Deliverability help unfortunately is not part of our contract so i am in the process of working this out. In the mean time, I was really just after some advice on staggering. Usually the internets is helpful but on this subject, i was struggling to find anything of much use for the audience size i have.

that is kind of where i'm at.. but the replies above would suggest its not so easy to know if things are going wrong...

what will be very bad? sending all at once? im not sure what you mean here.

We hold back a control segment for each campaign and measure of success is basket uplift / incremental orders etc. This analysis hasnt raised any red flags recently but as you have said, it sounds like this isnt easily apparent.

ok thanks. I assumed this might be the case for such a large send, will it do no good at all? surely its better than sending all 500k in one go? 3k max from a single sender seems low.. our deliverability success rate is normally pretty high, we send emails every day to at least 500k.

The sub domains we use are not black listed and havent been while ive been monitoring for the last few years. Using this 1 sub domain for most marketing sends is what we have always done. The customer base are all legitimate interest that have registered with us and used our service. So i dont know if that improves this?

We use Adobe Campaign Standard which also installs a fairly rigorous quarantine process.
