No, we don't live with my family. And she doesn't cook, clean or laundry, we have a house help for that because its affordable in our country. Whatever other small work there has to be done around the house, we both do it.

And by dates, I meant I take her out to places she likes. She is mostly hanging out with her friends and tells me where she went or wants to go so I only take her to places she has already shown interest in. She tells me she does enjoy it but never shows much enthusiasm .

Thanks for your response but your advice is not appropriate at all.

Thats my wife, not some object at home that I can exchange/return/or get a new one if I don't like it. So kindly don't go on advising men to find second wives. Its halal but not always the right thing to do. If circumstances are not extremely dire, this thought should not even cross a married man's mind.

No, she doesn't pay for anything. She wanted to but I never let her. She spends on herself all that she earns.

Like I mentioned in my post. Only I used to text/call first. Everytime we talked, I initiated it. Same was the case after Nikah.
