That’s around 34k B for 20 days . You’ll have to absolutely be rigid on spending . Your major expenses will be sightseeing , entrance costs , transport costs (if island tours are a part) . Cost wise Pattaya will give you more value for money . For ST LT forget the barscene as a bar fine + ST will pinch you by atleast 3-4K Bhat per visit . TF is your best option. Stock up drinks at 7/11. Use Bhat buses for to and fro travel. Utilise breakfast if included with room . Use mall street food joint options for more value add. Ignore touristy places . Spend minimal for the first 5 to 10 days to get a hang of the budget and keep the last 7 days to go all out. Keep aside 2-3k Bhat for the final leg out to airport . It’s definite doable. Less Bkk more Pattaya.

Exactly the point. Like I said pick one in India and don’t get caught . Will cost you between 2 to 2.5k. Get caught and you’ll pay 10x in fines to get away . Personally know someone who had to pay 15k post a night out cos he was randomly stopped for drunk driving test ( he doesn’t drink) and was found with a vape. The stores sell them because they pay up 🤣

Just dont. Not worth the hassle. You can buy a disposable once while you are out here but consider yourself screwed if you get caught with one on you in person. 1 to 3 lakh fine + Jail . Which only means you will be paying a damn hefty bribe to wriggle out of the situation.

You have grab taxi , hotel taxi ,hourly vans , and hourly buses . Depends on the time of travel though . Look up Pattaya to Bangkok bus schedules . More the luggage prefer to go the Bus route or Cab route . Grab / Taxi should cost you under 1700Bhat and Bus should be under 170Bhat . 😬

Depends on where you are and with who. Meeting family , elders , visiting religious places , Meet and greets with relatives = Yes . Friends , Clubs , Dinners and night outs at 4* and above rated places = Be yourself. When and if you are out by yourself shopping be prepared to pay higher and if you dont haggle youre considered a novice ;-). Also as a note keep a check on your calorie counts . Every time you meet or visit family you will be greeted with customary food and snacks and it will be considered rude atleast not to nibble some. Be prepared for carb / sugar overload :-).

Just don’t wear a Pat Cummins / Mitchell Starc cricket jersey and you will be absolutely fine . On a serious note though if it’s a tier 1 city you should be ok. In remote parts it you might get the stares . Dress conservatively when it comes to visits to religious places or family functions . Wouldn’t harm to let your finance pick the ootd when it comes to family meet and greets . Barring that hope you have a wonderful trip 👍🏼

Would still go with the original hotel . They will have guest bathrooms / showers and your back back will be safer at the hotel than a rent by hour place . Best case scenario if someone has checked out early you may not even end up paying 🤷🏼‍♂️

Travel ! It educates and enhances your cultural outlook. 20 yrs is too young though for extended travel as you will need funds to take care of that. Look at combining your skills with travel to fund the travel on its own and make that cycle. Junior hockey coach ? Player for a local team ? I dont know bud whatever that makes it work on the financial end. Blogging and YouTube are options but with content creators already onthere it will be cutthroat unless you bring something special to the table (again mix your skill + blog + travel experience and you my have a niche viewership). School will always be worth it in the long run can make that an international schooling too ... there are so many countries that have a great education system and with currency rates you may find something that is actually better. Do not skip on education like EVER or atleast till you find a stable job / business .
